Man in the Moment
At dawn, I think
of those times
when we were
together
You caressed
my cheeks
felt my chin
a blind man
reading braille
committing to
memory
the moment
without time
suspended
As in all things
prices paid
pain created
through the interaction
of beings
With restless mind
I walk the streets
holding you dear
to my heart
a ripple
a wave
a tsunami
